More electricity: 200 megawatts is enough to power 82,000 homes annually.

Revenue for local government: Luna Valley will contribute more than $19 million in local taxes to support Fresno County schools, emergency services and other public infrastructure

Union jobs: Approximately 250 craftworkers contributed to the project's construction, supported by LIUNA, IBEW, the Carpenters Union, IUOE and the Iron Workers.

Supporting Fresno County schools & non-profits

As committed long-term members of every community we join, Clearway strives to support non-profits and organizations that serve our neighbors. During Luna Valley’s construction, our team:

  • Donated “back-to-school” backpacks, sports equipment and school supplies to Tranquility Elementary in 2024 and 2025
  • Hosted a food drive with Mendota Food bank
  • Participated in Mendota’s second annual toy drive for the 2024 holiday season

With the project now online, Clearway will continue to support local causes chosen by our local site managers on an ongoing basis.  Luna Valley will also join our signature “Adopt-A-School Program,” which has partnered with more than 50 schools to date.
